Lakeland Willow Spring Water
Testimonials

Catherine Cassidy - aged 17

Catherine, a promising athlete, had suffered from acne for a number of years and was told by her GP that she would have to have stronger medication to combat the acne and referred her to a dermatologist. However, although Catherine was desperate to clear her skin to restore her confidence, the treatment she’d have to undertake for her condition could affect the growth hormone and could drastically interfere with her progress as an athlete.

However, a trial of Willow Water at her school proved to be a natural remedy to her problematic skin as the water miraculously cleared up her severe acne.

Ann Sedgewick - aged 24

Ann is married and runs a hairdressing salon. She has suffered with terrible eczema since being young but after discovering Willow Water, has given up all her medication.

Ann says:
"I have suffered with eczema since I was a little girl.  I was prescribed all the usual creams and ointments but they didn't seem to do much good. I had it mainly in the creases of my arms and on my face so was very conscious of it.

Carole Yates - aged 56

Carole was born with a mole under her breast about the size of a ten pence piece that used to bleed. Carole went to see her GP and it turned out to be non-malignant but was still a nuisance.

Carole also has a skin condition known as postulant psoriasis, which she has had since she was 18. It meant that when she walked any distance, the blisters on her feet would burst and become extremely painful.

Carole recently discovered Willow Water and since she has been drinking it the mole has ‘dropped off’ and the blisters on her feet and hands have cleared up completely.

Jordan Bulley - aged 14

Jordan had a difficult start to her life after being diagnosed early on with a congenital heart defect called PDA (Persistent Ductus Arteriosus), needing two operations before she was four years old. She also has coeliac disease, which she was probably born with but wasn't diagnosed until she was 2 years old. Then five years ago, aged only nine, she was diagnosed with eczema, which although not life threatening is incredibly uncomfortable.

Jordan's eczema was on the calves of her legs, crooks of her elbows and backs of her knees and had begun to start around her mouth too. Her calves were scarred from her scratching in the night - making them bleed and weep. Sara, Jordan's Mum, tried everything to alleviate the condition - including steroid creams and even Chinese medicine - but nothing helped. Then Sara heard about Willow Water and its natural healing properties.

Levi Barber - aged 4

4-year-old Levi Barber was diagnosed with eczema when he was 6 months old, a condition that gradually worsened as he got older. His mum, Julie Barber reported that he looked as though he 'belonged in a burns unit'.

Levi had open seeping sores and his skin was very red and inflamed. He couldn't sleep at night or stay away as he had to have special creams and ointments applied. His sleep was very disturbed as he often woke crying - bleeding where he had scratched.

Kacey Watson - aged 1

Kacey Watsonwas diagnosed with eczema when she was 3 months old and prescribed the usual creams and medication such as oilatum etc. Kacey’s Mum Stacey Watson heard about Willow Water and decided to give it to Kacey in a bottle to see if it would work. Within days the eczema had cleared up.

Stacey then ran out of Willow Water and the eczema returned – so she now makes sure she always has a supply! As long as Kacey drinks Willow Water, her eczema is kept at bay.

Harris Brogan - aged 5

Harris Brogan was born in Sept 2002 and showed classic signs of atopic eczema at about 3 months old, initially on his cheeks and then slowly developing over his body. Various techniques to attempt to control Harris’s eczema were employed by the medical profession; some treatments did make an improvement whilst others were ineffective. However, the family were often reminded that what improves in one child may not be as effective for another.

A family friend wrote a letter to GMTV, with input from Harris, regarding his dream of “all I want for Christmas …” In Harris’s case, all he wanted for Christmas was to be ‘itch free’. The letter was successful and the Brogan family appeared on GMTV on 12th December 2007.

Finlay Greenhalgh - aged 2

Lisa’s 2-year-old son Finlay started having eczema when he was just 8 months old. He had big patches all over his body and had a hospital appointment where he was given steroid creams. This treatment didn’t help at all and the eczema spread and became very painful. Lisa tried all types of treatment such as salt crystal therapy, wet wraps and Chinese allergy tests (which informed them that Finlay was allergic to chocolate which, for a two year old, is most unfair!).

Finlay was never able to go swimming as it used to irritate his skin and make it very sore. One of his first words was ‘itch’.

Water for Life

Water makes up about two-thirds of our body weight. And it's important for this to be maintained because most of the chemical reactions that happen in our cells need water. We also need water for our blood to be able to carry nutrients around the body.

Grab a sportscap

Take a sports cap bottle to work or school with you so you always have Willow to hand.

Don't wait

Don't wait until you're thirsty to drink water - by the time you feel thirsty you have probably already lost 2 or more cups of your total body water composition.

Combat Colds and Flu

Common colds and flu frequently lead to dehydration so make sure you have water with you at all times.
Young vibrant skin

Water is the ultimate beauty product; dehydrated skin looks older than it is. Drink lots to keep your skin looking younger and more vibrant.

Water Anytime

Your intake should be spread throughout the day and evening. You may wonder: If I drink this much, won't I constantly be running to the bathroom? Yes. But after a few weeks, your bladder tends to adjust and you urinate less frequently but in larger amounts.

At the gym

Make sure you always take a bottle of water to the gym or when you exercise.
